Philippines Candidate chess master Ric de la Pena lost to former Far Eastern University (FEU) mainstay Ritchie Evangelista in the final round of the Philweb National Executive Grand Prix Active Chess Championships but still emerged the champion in the tournament recently held in Intramuros, Manila.
Sikat ang Pinoy na si De la Peña, who tallied 6.5 points in 9 rounds, was already a virtual champion going to the last round after leading by 1.5 points ahead his closest rivals. Evangelista, on the other hand, settled for a tie among the 2nd to 4th placers along with veteran campaigner Emil Chua and Fide Master Randy Segarra. They tallied 6 points each.
Dr. Jenny Mayor, meantime, annexed his 7th National Executive title after accumulating 158 points in this year-long event, hosted by Philweb Corporation led by lawyer Cliburn Orbe. Mayor, who is a native of Romblon and a Quiapo lay minister, also topped the national executive tournament organized by the Active Chess Center of Asia (ACCA) from 1999 to 2002 and the on-line care in Paranaque City in 2006.

Finally the Sikat ang Pinoy is only two weeks remaining all participants working hard for their websites. The contest will end this February 14, 2010 day of Valentines Day. Because of Valentine’s Day you can Watch Valentine’s Day Movie while building links for their Sikat ang Pinoy blogs.
This Valentines Day 2010 everyone with lovers with giving cards, roses, etc. that’s special. So on that day all participants will be at home just updating for the final result and who will be the winners for the competition.
This month the month where all contestants start to work hard for their Sikat ang Pinoy entry and build huge of back links. My team will continue to work and making some tricks and some effective link building tactics to get more back links. But for me back links is not very important yes it is important but not at all.
Because if you are continue doing in one way like building back links you cannot gain highest ranking, that’s i need more power to work. Google announce the Real Time search. It is quick what is it and how to use it compares to the last google real time search. One example is search the word oes tsetnoc on Google where about midway down page, you can see there latest results appears with real time result.
